How to Pitch Yourself
Learn all about Pitch Perfect from Dr. Ryan Sheets, Director of the Business Communication Lab at the University of Arkansas. This event is specifically designed for Walton College students who want to improve their storytelling skills. Pitch Perfect is a great opportunity to meet recruiters from various companies before the Career Fair and receive feedback on your pitches. You can also listen to your peers' pitches and get helpful suggestions and tips from the BCL staff.

In this episode, some tips to help you pitch yourself and handle the trickiest question at job interviews and networking events: "Tell me about yourself." You'll discover strategies for structuring your answer, capturing your audience's attention, and deciding which story to tell. Plus, you'll learn how to prepare your story in advance.
